Nettys Cakes and Catering provide Celebration cakes, Cupcakes, Cupcake Parties, Corporate cakes, Sweet treats and Loaf cakes for all occasions in Telford, Shrewsbury, Shropshire and the surrounding areas.
Please read the information below before placeing an order.
General information
If your order is large or for a special occasion you are advised to order as soon as possible.
Generally orders should be placed at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date; however last minute orders will be accommodated where possible.
To ensure fruit cakes are enjoyed to their maximum 3 months notice is usually required.
Allergen and Special Dietary requirements
The majority of cakes contain eggs, butter and flour and are prepared on premises where products containing nuts are kept, and so are not suitable for people with an allergy to nuts.
Special dietary requirements are fully understood and respected. Cakes can be made gluten free, wheat free, egg free and dairy free. Ask for further details.
Collection and Delivery
Cakes can be collected free of charge by prior arrangement from our premises in Telford.
Orders over £40 will be delivered free of charge within the Telford area (Madeley, Strichley, Dawley, Wellington, Apley, Shawbirch etc…)
For all other deliveries outside of this area please ask for a quote (Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Newport, South Shropshire and North Shropshire etc…)
Cancellations and Returns
If you need to cancel your order you must do so within 48 hours of the goods being required. Large and Bespoke designs must be cancelled no later than 14 days prior to the event to obtain a full refund.
Payment terms
Payment can be made by cash or cheque. Where cheques are used at the point of collection or delivery they must be accompanied by a cheque guarantee card covering the full outstanding amount.
Orders over £50 will require a 25% deposit. Deposits must be paid within 7 days of the order being placed, or immediately if the order is placed with less than 2 weeks notice.
Until the balance of payment has been made cakes remain the property of Netty’s Cakes.
Cake and Cupcake Stands
We have a number of cake stands and cupcakes stands which you can hire, prices vary please do ask. A refundable deposit is required to guarantee the safe return of these stands. Stands should be returned 1 week after the event date.
Please do remember to check with your venue as most will supply a basic stand and knife with most packages. Do check it is suitable and is in good condition.
